NUVOBITS

Cookie policy

The full list of what we store in your browser. The table below is generated from the same manifest the software sets its cookies from, so it cannot describe a cookie we do not set.

1. What we mean by cookies

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Sites can also use other browser storage, such as localStorage, for the same purposes. The law treats both the same way, so this policy covers both and the table below marks which is which.

2. The two categories

We group storage into two buckets, and you control the second one:

3. Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer, which reopens the banner. You can also delete cookies and browser storage from your browser's settings; if you do, the site will ask again on your next visit. Blocking necessary cookies entirely will stop parts of the client area working.

4. Third-party storage

At the time of writing, the public website sets no third-party cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font CDN, so loading a page does not disclose your IP address to another company. If you accept analytics, an analytics provider will set its own storage; that provider will be named here and in the Privacy Policy before it is enabled.

5. Changes to this policy

The table below is generated from the application itself, and our build fails if the software sets something this page does not list. When we add or remove storage, this page changes in the same release.

What we store

Everything NUVOBITS writes to your browser today:

Name Type Purpose Category Lifetime
nuvo_session Cookie A short-lived identifier for your browsing session, used for signed-in pages and for one-off messages such as a confirmation that your form was sent. The cookie is deleted when you close your browser; on our side the matching record is deleted after two hours without activity, and no record is created at all unless there is something to remember. Necessary Until you close the browser
nuvo-appearance localStorage Remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. Necessary Until you clear it
nuvo_admin Cookie Keeps a member of our staff signed in to the internal back office. It is set only after an authorised staff sign-in, it is never set for clients or visitors, and your browser does not send it to any page of this website. It is deleted when the browser closes, and the matching record on our side ends after 30 minutes of inactivity and in any case 8 hours after sign-in. Necessary Until you close the browser
nuvo_consent Cookie Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked again. Necessary 180 days
nuvo_anon Cookie A random identifier that links your consent decisions to one browser. It is not tied to your identity. Necessary 180 days
nuvo_attribution Cookie Records which campaign first brought you here, so we can tell which advertising works. First touch only; never overwritten. Necessary 30 days
nuvo_csrf Cookie A random value used to check that a form you submit really came from this site. Set only on pages that have a form, and deleted when you close your browser. Necessary Until you close the browser

Generated from the application's cookie manifest. If the software sets an item that is not listed here, the build fails.
